Hi there. Just call me Linin.
I live in Saskatchewan with my husband. I don’t drive, I jump from hobby to hobby, and most days I feel like I’m mediocre at… well, everything.
I started this blog not because I have answers, or because I’ve mastered the art of life, or even because I feel confident in what I’m doing. Honestly, it’s the opposite. I write because I know there are others like me, humans in their 30s especially, who feel stuck, lost, or behind. Humans who want to upgrade themselves but don’t know where to begin. Humans who are tired of the noise, the comparisons, and the superficiality of social media, but still are quietly seeking ways to better themselves, to notice their own lives more deeply, and to find a place that feels like their own.
Life for me is full of small contradictions: I crave new experiences but hesitate to try; I notice the world around me but rarely trust myself to contribute; I drift through hobbies but never seem to settle. I once tried crochet, but it quickly felt like too much for me. And yet, even in mediocrity, there’s noticing.
That’s what this blog is about; small observations, quiet reflections, the thoughts that sit just below the surface of our busy, often exhausting lives.
In this little corner of the great internet void, I lay out opinions, reflections, and observations on lifestyle aesthetics, digital presence, and the subtle ways we navigate self-improvement. I’m not telling anyone what to do. I’m not posting bright banners shouting “be better!”
Some posts may make you uncomfortable. Some may resonate like a quiet echo of your own thoughts. Some may simply amuse or distract. And that’s enough. Sometimes noticing is more important than acting. Sometimes reflection alone is a form of progress.
My goal for this blog is simple: to create a space where subtle self-development can exist without pretense. A place where curiosity, thoughtfulness, and honest reflection matter more than skills, achievements, or external validation. A place where small, unforced realizations can emerge, and where readers might start to notice themselves, their choices, their habits, their desires, how they want to show up in the world without pressure or judgment.
If you stick around for a while, reading thoughts that wander as much as you do, maybe something will catch your attention—a question, a pattern, or just a small idea you hadn’t noticed before. And if it doesn’t, that’s fine too. Either way, thanks for stopping by. I’m glad you’re here.

P.S. I want to be transparent and just put this out here. I use AI for research purposes and to translate my authentic Filipino voice seamlessly into natural English. Please don’t crucify me!
